    Summary

    These Vanilla Bean Angel Food Cake Trifles with Fresh Berries are the perfect easy dessert for summer! 

    Ingredients

    1/2 leftover Angel Food Cake (use my No Fail Angel Food Cake recipe!)

    1 recipe Vanilla Bean Pastry Cream (link in the instructions below)

    5-6 cups fresh blueberries, strawberries (sliced), raspberries and/or blackberries

    2 cups whipped cream or your favourite whipped topping

    Instructions

    Cut the 1/2 Angel Food Cake into one-inch squares. 
    Spoon some Vanilla Bean Pastry Cream into the bottom of 6 stemless wine glasses or mini-trifle glasses. 
    Layer the Angel Food Cake squares, fresh berries and  pastry cream, repeating until the layers reach the top of the glass.
    Top with a dollop of whipped cream or whipped topping and a fresh berry for garnish.
    Serve immediately.
