    • 3 tbsp oil
    • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
    • 2 - 3 dry whole red chili
    • 1 tsp urad dal / ulundu
    • 2 sprigs of curry leaves
    • 1 large onion, finely chopped
    • 1 tbsp garlic, finely chopped
    • 1 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1 tsp red chilli powder
    • salt to taste
