    These VERY Berry Cupcakes are moist, fluffy, and bursting with flavor! Perfect for Summer parties and picnics!

    Ingredients

    • For the Triple Berry Cupcakes:
    • 2 sticks (8 ounces) unsalted butter, very soft
    • 1 tablespoon vanilla
    • 2 cups granulated sugar
    • 4 large eggs, at room temperature
    • 1 cup full-fat sour cream
    • 1/2 cup whole milk
    • 3 and 1/4 cups PLUS 2 tablespoons cake flour, divided
    • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    • 3/4 teaspoon salt
    • 2/3 cup fresh blueberries
    • 2/3 cup fresh blackberries (if you have any huge blackberries, cut them in half)
    • 2/3 cup fresh raspberries
    • For the Triple Berry Frosting:
    • 1/3 cup fresh blueberries (frozen will also work; do not thaw first)
    • 1/3 cup fresh raspberries (frozen will also work; do not thaw first)
    • 1/3 cup fresh blackberries (frozen will also work; do not thaw first)
    • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
    • 2 sticks (8 ounces) unsalted butter, VERY soft
