    This tart is perfect for your "I'm not big on dessert" friends. Roasted butternut squash makes a nice change from pumpkin.

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

    • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted and ground
    • 1 large egg
    • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
    • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, plus more for rolling
    • 1 teaspoon raw sugar
    • 2 teaspoons sliced almonds, toasted
