    • 2 pounds ground beef or turkey
    • 1 large onion, chopped
    • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
    • 1½ Tablespoons ground cumin
    • 1 (12 ounce) can diced tomatoes
    • 1 (16 ounce) pinto beans, drained and rinsed
    • 1 (16 ounce) red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
    • 1 (12 ounce) bottle of beer
    • 1 (4 ounce) diced green chiles
    • 1 Tablespoon hot pepper sauce
    • 1½ teaspoons salt
