    This sticky orange marmalade loaf cake is quick and easy to make, packed with flavour and a real tea time treat.  Best made with homemade marmalade, but shop will do as well.

    Ingredients

    • 120 g unsalted butter allowed to soften
    • 100 g caster sugar
    • 2 eggs lightly beaten
    • 120 g plain flour
    • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    • 3 tbsp Seville orange marmalade
    • 2 tbsp milk
    • 1 tbsp marmalade
    • 50 g icing sugar
    • 1 tbsp warm water
