    A spicy, chewy, rich, and decadent brownie made with black beans. No oil, no processed sugar, and gluten free.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup of whole oats ground into flour
    • 2 15 ounce cans of black beans – drained and rinsed well
    • 2 flax eggs – 2 tablespoons of ground flax seed + 6 tablespoons of water mixed well. Let sit for ten minutes.
    • 1 cup of maple syrup or sweetener of your choice (if you like really sweet brownies feel free to add more)
    • 1 and 1/4 cup of cacao or unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
    • 1 teaspoon of finely ground sea salt
    • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
    • 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne powder (if you don’t like spicy food, leave it out)
    • 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract
    • 1/4 cup of water – add more by the teaspoon if needed.
