    • 2 Tbs of diced garlic ( this was 5 cloves for me)
    • a heaping 1/2 cup of diced yellow onion (this was 1/2 of a yellow onion for me)
    • 1 pound of ground beef
    • 2 tsp Italian herbs , divided
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 4 Tbs tomato paste
    • 1 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes (Pomi is my favorite all natural brand)
    • 1 1/2 cup strained tomatoes (Pomi)
    • 1 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
    • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
    • 2 Tbs honey
    • 1/2 cup water
