    Taberu rayu (食べるラー油) or japanese chili oil is a condiment that’s eaten with rice or noodles. This version uses ramps in place of garlic for a fresh spring taste.

    Ingredients

    • 1/4 cupvegetable oil
    • 100 gramsramp whites minced
    • 1/2 cuptoasted sesame oil
    • 20 gramsscallop dried sea minced (I used a spice grinder)
    • 2 teaspoonsgochugaru (korean chili powder)
    • 1 tablespoonsoy sauce
    • 1/2 teaspoonsugar
