  • Summary

This is a short crust cookie but instead of using all purpose flour I transformed the shortcrust into healthier ragi poppy seed cookies. Basically you can exchange the ragi flour for all purpose flour if you don't get ragi flour in your corner of the world.

    Ingredients

    • 250 grams Ragi flour (Finger millet)
    • 100 grams Powdered Sugar
    • pinch Salt
    • pinch Baking Powder
    • few drops vanilla essence (I used this homemade vanilla essence from mydiversekitchen.com)
    • 120 grams butter
    • 1 Egg
    • 4 Tablespoon Poppy Seed Paste
    • Powdered Sugar to decorate slightly (optional)
