- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1/3 cup all purpose flour (GF Option: gluten-free flour + 1 teaspoon xantham gum OR 2 tablespoons potato starch - unless flour already contains a thickening agent)
- 1 cup oats, uncooked (GF Option: use certified gluten-free oats)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda (GF Option: use a gluten-free brand)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup M&M candies (GF Option: Most plain M&M candies are gluten-free, however not all of their candies are. Be sure to use certified gluten-free chocolate candies for a GF Option.)
