    Delicious traditional Kerala style curry made with pavakka/Indian bitter gourd and yogurt coconut spicy mixture.

    Ingredients

    • 4 pavakka/ bitter gourd sliced into ¼ inch pieces
    • 2 green chilies chopped into 4 pieces
    • 2 sprig curry leaves
    • ½ cup grated fresh coconut
    • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
    • 1 cup Yogurt (I used homemade one, if it is very thick dilute it with ¼ cup water)
    • ¾ teaspoon salt or to taste
    • ½ cup Peanut oil ( use your favorite frying oil )
    • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
    • 1 red chili halved into pieces
