    • 6-8 fresh basil leaves
    • 4 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 small onion, peeled & chopped
    • 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
