    • 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
    • 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    • 2 tsp red chili powder
    • 4 - 5 green chilies
    • 2 cardamom
    • 2 inch stick cinnamon
    • 4 cloves
    • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
    • 2 tbsp tamarind paste
    • salt to taste
