    • 1 bay leaf
    • 3 cardamom pods
    • 3 cloves
    • 1 inch cinnamon stick
    • ½ cup chopped red onion
    • 1 tablespoon mint leaves
    • 10 to 15 cashew nuts I used roasted salted
