    • 2 garlic cloves, chopped

    • 2 carrots, peeled, chopped
    • 2 golden potatoes, peeled, diced
    • 1 tsp ground coriander
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
    • 1/2 tsp thyme
    • Salt and pepper
    • 1 32-oz can whole peeled tomatoes
    • 2 bay leaves
    • 6 cups turkey bone broth (or use low-sodium chicken broth or vegetable broth)
    • 1 15-oz can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
    • Zest of 1 lime
    • Juice of 1 lime
    • 1/3 cup toasted pine nuts, optional
