    Ingredients

    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds*
    • 6 garlic cloves, minced
    • 2 ⅔ - 2 ¾ cups (640 - 660 mL) vegetable broth
    • 1 cup French green lentils
    • Kosher salt or sea salt to taste
    • Freshly cracked black pepper to taste
    • 2 tablespoons tahini
    • 2-3 teaspoons tamari (depends on how salty your vegetable broth is)
    • * If you don’t have cumin seeds, use 1/2 - 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin along with the lentils.
