    Ingredients

    • 1 medium onion
    • 5 fat cloves of garlic
    • 1.5 teaspoons dried or fresh rosemary
    • 2 tablespoons arrowroot powder or cornstarch
    • 4 cups lima beans (or great northern or navy)
    • 4 cups good quality vegetable or mushroom broth
    • 1 bunch of kale de-stalked & chopped finely (about 6 large leaves but don't worry if yours is a bit bigger or smaller. It doesn't matter)
    • 1 medium lemon
    • salt & pepper to taste
