    Shirataki noodles are perfect for getting your chow mein on. We are using shrimp in this recipe which is great for thyroid health. Aside from protein, shrimp provides a pretty impressive array of nutrients. Four ounces steamed contains over 100% of the Daily Value for selenium, over 75% for vitamin B12, over 50% for phosphorous, and over 30% for choline, copper, and iodine.

    Ingredients

    • 8 oz shirataki noodles (can usually be found in the cold produce section next to the tofu.)
    • 1/4 cup Napa cabbage
    • 1 tbsp green onions
    • 1 tsp ginger (fresh, grated)
    • 4 oz shrimp (uncooked)
    • 1/4 cup mushrooms
    • 1/4 cup bamboo shoots
    • 1/4 cup bean sprouts
    • 1 clove garlic
    • 2 dashes fish sauce (Peeyoo Alert. The funk ceases and will not taste like it smells.)
    • 1 tbsp sambal olek chili paste (Can usually be found in the asian aisle of the grocery store.)
    • 2 tbsp Bragg's Coconut Aminos
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
