    Ingredients

    • ½ liter or 2 cups of full-fat milk
    • 1 and ½ tbsp basmati rice, washed and soaked for 30 minutes
    • ¼ cup sugar or as per taste
    • 2-3 strands of saffron (kesar) dissolved in 2 tbsp of warm milk
    • A handful of slivered almonds (badaam katran)
    • A handful of slivered pistachios (pista katran)
