    Herby beef stew. Seasoned beef with vegetables cooked in slow cooker.Serve with cooked rice or pasta.Ingredients2 pounds (960 g) stewing beef,cubed2/3 cup (160 g) all-purpose flour1 1/2 teaspoons salt1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper14 1/2 oz (435 ml) can diced tomatoes in juice,undrained8 oz (240 ml) tomato sauce14 1/2 oz (435 ml) can beef broth2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce1 bay leaf2 teaspoons kitchen bouquet2 tablespoons dried parsley1 teaspoon Hungarian sweet paprika4 celery heart ribs,chopped5 mushrooms,sliced3 potatoes,peeled and cubed3 cloves garlic,peeled and minced1 large yellow onion,peeled and choppedMethodStep 1In a mixing bowl,combine flour,salt,and black pepper. Mix well.Step 2Dredge meat in seasoned flour,then brown in oil in saucepan.Step 3Place in slow cooker.Step 4In a another bowl,combine remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour mixture over seasoned meat in slow cooker and mix again.Step 5Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 10-12 hours. Stir well before serving.
