    Healthy Double Chocolate Almond Butter Cookies Recipe. Flourless, gluten free, can be vegan! Made with flaxseed meal (or chia seeds or a "regular egg", cocoa powder, honey (or vegan alternative like maple syrup or agave), almond butter, vanilla, baking soda, salt, and dark chocolate chips! Less than 150 calories per cookie!

    Ingredients

    • 1 tablespoon golden flaxseed meal
    • 3 tablespoons water
    • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
    • 1  teaspoon  baking soda
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1  cup  smooth almond butter (make sure you’re using the just nuts variety (mine was runny, but cold from the fridge))
    • 1/4 cup honey
    • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
    • 1/2 cup  dark chocolate chips
    • Maldon sea salt (optional for topping)
