    Everybody needs some sweets here and there. When I first came across Sarah Sunshine’s website, my taste buds were overwhelmed with delight and my mouth was watering for more. She’s been baking and experimenting with desserts most of her life and now has her own catering company in the Bay Area. Not only are her desserts delicious, but they’re also vegan and many are gluten-free. I’m very excited to share these scrumptious cocoa almond thumbprint cookies. I’m not a baker and these cookies are very easy to make and absolutely divine to eat. Get ready for a recipe that will rock your world.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup raw almonds
    • 2 cups gluten-free oats
    • ¾ cup almond flour
    • ? teaspoon salt
    • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
    • ½ cup maple syrup
    • ½ cup almond butter
    • ¼ cup coconut oil
    • Dash of vanilla extract
    • ½ cup cocoa-almond spread (you can use Nutella but the recipe won't be vegan)
