    Cranberry orange bread made with fresh cranberries and a sweet orange glaze.  This is one of our families favorite traditions during the holidays.

    Ingredients

    • 3 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 2 teaspoons baking powder
    • 2 cups granulated sugar
    • Zest of 2 large oranges
    • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
    • 1 cup oil ((vegetable or canola oil))
    • 4 large eggs (slightly beaten)
    • 2 Tablespoons fresh orange juice
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 2 cups fresh cranberries (halved)
    • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons orange zest
