    Ingredients

    • 1 cup sour cream (For a lighter dressing: substitute ½ cup plain yogurt and ½ cup sour cream)
    • ½ cup mayonnaise
    • ¾ cup good quality blue cheese, crumbled
    • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice or vinegar
    • 2 tablespoons whole milk or half & half (add more for a thinner dressing)
    • ¼ teaspoon white pepper
    • salt to taste
    • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely minced (optional)
