    • 1/2 cup (3.5 ounces) light brown sugar
    • 4 eggs
    • 1 1/2 cups canola or vegetable oil
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

    • 5 tablespoons butter – unsalted – softened, but still cool
    • 1-tablespoon sour cream
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 1/4 cups (5 ounces) confectioner’s sugar (powdered sugar)
