    WARNING: This bourbon chicken was my gateway drug into cooking all of our Chinese food at home and never getting take out again. It is SO good and so easy and it completely ruined Chinese take out for us, and we like it that way

    Ingredients

    • 3 boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite sized pieces
    • 1/2 cup cornstarch
    • vegetable oil for frying
    • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
    • 1/4 tsp ground Ginger
    • 3/4 tsp Crushed Red Pepper
    • 1/4 cup Apple Juice
    • 1/3 cup Light Brown Sugar (or 1/6 cup White sugar + 1/6 cup Dark Brown Sugar)
    • 2 TBSP Ketchup
    • 1 TBSP Cider Vinegar
    • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
    • 1/3 cup REDUCED SODIUM Soy Sauce
