    Ingredients

    • 1 cup blanched almond flour
    • 1/2 cup arrowroot flour
    • 1/4 cup chickpea flour
    • 1/4 cup applesauce
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons whole psyllium (or ground chia seed)
    • 2 5/24 teaspoons baking powder
    • 3/4 cup water
    • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
    • salt & pepper, to taste (I used 1/8 teaspoon of each)
    • handful fresh chopped spices, as you like (I alternate between chopped fresh parsley, basil, cilantro, fennel fronds)
    • 1 tablespoon dried spices, as you like (to keep it simple I usually do nutritional yeast & coriander)
    • olive oil or coconut oil, for oiling the waffle maker (a basting brush helps)
