Summary
These aren't the usual sloppy joes... made with beef, spicy chorizo, jalapeno and beer, they're an adult version of everyone's favorite childhood sandwich!
Ingredients
- 3/4 lb ground beef
- 3/4 lb ground chorizo
- 1/2 large white or yellow onion diced
- 1 jalalpeno seeded and diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 3/4 cup beer I used Guinness Blonde
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Couple dashes of hot sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp butter
- Olive oil
- Pretzel buns toasted, or your favorite buns
