    OMG, Y'all if you like wings and you need something other then the everyday wing. Ya gotta' give this one a shot! My daughter Misty and I came up with this recipe last summer for something different for a field party we throw every year and let me just say there was nada left for friends or family to take home! Oh so garlicky, honey-sweet and spicy! I make up a big batch of this sauce and use it on bone-in wings, boneless wings as a glaze for baked or BBQ'ed chicken and as a glaze for pork as well. And send bottles home with all 3 of my kids! This recipe is really all about the wing sauce!

    Ingredients

    • 2 lb chicken wings or boneless breast, cleaned and prepared
    • 1 c buttermilk
    • 2 c flour (does not matter if all-purpose or self-rising)
    • 2 Tbsp garlic powder
    • 2 tsp pepper
    • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
    • 1 tsp chipotle pepper powder (optional)
    • · oil for frying
    • 1 stick butter
    • 1 1/2 c Franks Red Hot or whatever hot sauce you use
    • 1/2 c honey (more if you want it sweeter)
    • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
    • 3 Tbsp garlic puree or super fine minced garlic (yes Tbsp I said it is garlicky, less if you want less)
    • 2 tsp mustard powder (or 1 tsp yellow mustard)
